Job Overview: Vivekananda Central School is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Key Responsibilities:
- Early Childhood Education:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, interactive, and stimulating lessons for pre-primary students, fostering a love for learning.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction.
- Curriculum Implementation:
- Follow the prescribed curriculum and tailor teaching methods to meet the developmental needs and interests of pre-primary students.
- Integrate various educational materials, activities, games, and storytelling to enhance the learning experience.
- Individualized Learning:
- Understand the unique learning styles and abilities of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
- Foster early literacy, numeracy, and social skills development through creative and engaging teaching strategies.
- Parent Communication:
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress, behavior, and milestones achieved.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and conferences to discuss students’ development and address any concerns.
- Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a structured and organized classroom environment that promotes a sense of order, routine, and discipline appropriate for young learners.
- Implement positive behavior management techniques and encourage teamwork and collaboration among students.
- Assessment and Progress Tracking:
- Conduct continuous assessment of students’ progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop effective assessment tools and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification with a focus on early childhood education.
- Previous experience working with pre-primary or early childhood students is advantageous.
- Strong passion for working with young children, patience, and understanding of their developmental stages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and interact effectively with young learners.
