Job Overview: Vivekananda Central School is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Pre-Primary Teacher will play a pivotal role in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for young learners. Key Responsibilities:

1. Early Childhood Education:
   • Plan and deliver age-appropriate, interactive, and stimulating lessons for pre-primary students, fostering a love for learning.
   • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction.
2. Curriculum Implementation:
   • Follow the prescribed curriculum and tailor teaching methods to meet the developmental needs and interests of pre-primary students.
   • Integrate various educational materials, activities, games, and storytelling to enhance the learning experience.
3. Individualized Learning:
   • Understand the unique learning styles and abilities of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
   • Foster early literacy, numeracy, and social skills development through creative and engaging teaching strategies.
4. Parent Communication:
   • Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress, behavior, and milestones achieved.
   • Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings and conferences to discuss students’ development and address any concerns.
5. Classroom Management:
   • Establish and maintain a structured and organized classroom environment that promotes a sense of order, routine, and discipline appropriate for young learners.
   • Implement positive behavior management techniques and encourage teamwork and collaboration among students.
6. Assessment and Progress Tracking:
   • Conduct continuous assessment of students’ progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
   • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop effective assessment tools and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification with a focus on early childhood education.
• Previous experience working with pre-primary or early childhood students is advantageous.
• Strong passion for working with young children, patience, and understanding of their developmental stages.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and interact effectively with young learners.
